Let’s Rock! A New-Look Grand Slam of Curling Brings Fans Every Moment of the 2024-25 Season
TORONTO (Sept. 26) – The Grand Slam of Curling is set to return to the ice, delivering fans every hit, roll and sweep of the 2024-25 season. The action gets underway with the HearingLife Tour Challenge in Charlottetown, PEI, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1. Kicking off the season in style, the Grand Slam of Curling will debut a refreshed brand design across all platforms which can be previewed here.
Streaming and Broadcast
For the first time in series history, every matchup of every draw of the Grand Slam of Curling’s main events will be available via live stream*, hosted by Canadian-based HomeTeam Live. Currently available in free preview, the games can be accessed via the Grand Slam of Curling website. Subscription options for the remainder of the season to be announced in the coming weeks.
Each draw will have a feature game with a rotation of commentators; including play-by-play from John Cullen plus analysis from three-time world champion Brent Laing and Olympic gold medallist Tyler George as well as guest appearances by former and current competitors.
In Canada, Sportsnet continues to be the home of GSOC action, with coverage of each event from Thursday to Sunday. Please see attached for Sportsnet’s broadcast schedule.
2024-25 Grand Slam of Curling Season - Events
The biggest event of the Grand Slam season, HearingLife Tour Challenge, brings 64 teams to Charlottetown, PEI beginning next week. The event will feature two tiers of leading men’s and women’s curlers from across the globe, including 32 women’s teams and 32 men’s teams. The triple-knockout event will see teams competing for a combined $470,000 prize purse ($350,000 awarded to Tier 1, $120,000 to Tier 2).

- HearingLife Tour Challenge – Oct. 1-6, the Bell Aliant Centre (Charlottetown, PEI)
- Co-op Canadian Open – Nov. 5-10, Silent Ice Center (Nisku, AB)
- KIOTI National – Nov. 29-Dec. 1, Mary Brown’s Centre (St. John’s, NFLD)
- WFG Masters – Jan. 14-19, Sleeman Centre (Guelph, ON)
- Players’ Championship – April 8-13, Mattamy Athletic Centre (Toronto, ON)
